1. Coordinate with relevant units to prepare the necessary facilities, resources, and personnel for postgraduate admissions; organize the admission process and ensure the quality of student intake for all postgraduate programs.
2. Establish, maintain, and expand domestic and international partnerships to enhance the scale and quality of postgraduate education in accordance with the University's capabilities.
3. Coordinate with the Office of Inspection and Educational Quality Assurance in carrying out postgraduate quality management activities, including:
· Collaborating with academic faculties to develop textbooks, translate reference materials, and adapt foreign textbooks for teaching and learning purposes;
· Reviewing, updating, and improving postgraduate curricula;
· Monitoring and evaluating students' academic performance and teaching quality;
· Supervising the quality and progress of students' research projects, master's theses, and doctoral dissertations;
4. Conducting periodic reviews and evaluations of postgraduate training programs.
5. Develop, implement, and maintain the postgraduate education quality management system in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET); coordinate with the Office of Testing and Assessment to implement quality enhancement initiatives that support international integration, academic credit transfer, and quality certification.
6. Take the lead, in coordination with relevant units, in organizing final examinations, master's thesis defenses, and doctoral dissertation defenses.
· Organize and administer all administrative activities related to postgraduate education, including:
· Managing and maintaining student records, academic transcripts, learning outcomes, and other related documentation;
· Drafting regulations and guidelines governing postgraduate education and overseeing their implementation;
7. Verifying teaching workloads of faculty members and coordinating with the Office of Human Resources to recommend remuneration for teaching hours delivered by both internal and external lecturers.
8. Organize and manage foundation, bridging, and supplementary courses, as well as preparatory courses for postgraduate admissions.
9. Organize and manage research activities conducted by master's students and doctoral candidates, and coordinate academic exchange activities related to postgraduate education and management.
10. Coordinate with the Office of International Cooperation in developing plans for international collaboration, partnerships, and exchange programs in postgraduate education.
11. Coordinate with relevant units to provide educational consulting services, including training needs assessment, curriculum planning, instructional material development, course organization, faculty exchange, technical support, and other related services.
12. Perform other duties as assigned by the Chairman of the University Council and the Rector.
