Admission information (Master programs)
1. Admission Requirements
a) Applicants registering for the research-oriented training program must satisfy one of the following conditions:
- Have graduated from university with a "Good" classification or higher, or have fulfilled the requirements for recognition of university graduation at "Good" classification or higher (or an equivalent or higher qualification) in a major relevant to the field of application; applicants who graduated in a major not relevant to the field of application must complete supplementary knowledge courses before applying;
- Have graduated from university or fulfilled the requirements for recognition of university graduation (or an equivalent or higher qualification) in a major relevant to the field of application, and have published scientific work related to the intended field of study/research; applicants who graduated in a major not relevant to the field of application must complete supplementary knowledge courses before applying.
b) For application-oriented training programs: Applicants must have graduated from university or fulfilled the requirements for recognition of university graduation (or an equivalent or higher qualification) in a major relevant to the field of application; applicants who graduated in a major not relevant to the field of application must complete supplementary knowledge courses before applying.
c) If graduated from a foreign educational institution, the degree must be recognized in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.

3. Conditions for Exemption from the English and Second Foreign Language Exam
a) A bachelor's degree or higher in a foreign language major, recognized by the Quality Management Department - of the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET), with written recognition of the degree in accordance with current regulations; a bachelor's degree or higher from a program conducted mainly in a foreign language; or a bachelor's degree under the MOET's Project on advanced training programs at some universities in Vietnam.
b) A bachelor's degree or higher issued by Dong Nai Technology University itself within the past 2 years, where the program's learning outcomes meet the foreign language requirement of Level 3 or higher according to Vietnam's 6-Level Foreign Language Competency Framework;
c) One of the foreign language degrees or certificates equivalent to Level 3 or higher according to Vietnam's 6-Level Foreign Language Competency Framework, as specified in the Appendix of these Regulations, or other equivalent certificates announced by the Ministry of Education and Training, still valid as of the application registration date.
4. Examination Eligibility Requirements
Applicants for the Master's degree admission examination must meet the following requirements:
a) Regarding degrees:
- Applicants who graduated with a university degree exactly matching the major/field registered for the exam (all six majors);
- University degrees issued by foreign educational institutions must be recognized by the Quality Management Department - MOET in accordance with current regulations (all six majors);
- Applicants who hold a university degree in a related or different major from the exam major must complete supplementary knowledge courses as required before taking the exam.
b) Have a clear background, not currently serving a criminal sentence, and confirmed by the personnel management agency at their workplace or by the local government;
c) Be in good health to study;
d) Submit a complete application within the deadline set by Dong Nai Technology University.
5. Admission Schedule: Expected 3 batches/year
The University will organize Master's degree admissions in 3 batches in 2026, with specific timelines as follows:

7. Tuition Fee Reduction Policy
7.1. Tuition for the General Program
- A 5% reduction on full-program tuition for married couples enrolled in the same Master's cohort at DNTU;
- A 5% reduction on full-program tuition for biological siblings enrolled in the same Master's cohort at DNTU;
- A 10% reduction on full-program tuition for students and PhD candidates who pay in a single lump sum;
- A 10% reduction on full-program tuition for DNTU alumni;
- A 20% tuition reduction for civil servants of Trang Dai Ward;
- A 20% reduction on full-program tuition for DNTU graduates with a "Good" classification, within 1 year of graduation;
- A 30% reduction on full-program tuition for DNTU graduates with a "Very Good" classification, within 1 year of graduation.
7.2. Tuition for the Undergraduate-to-Master's Bridge Program (4+1 Program)
Third- and fourth-year students who wish to enroll in the Postgraduate transfer program at DNTU are eligible for the following tuition reduction policy:
- A 10% discount per course for students in a matching major who register to take Postgraduate courses in advance (credit may be transferred to the undergraduate level for courses under the same core curriculum or equivalent);
- A 10% discount per supplementary knowledge course for students in related or equivalent majors (credit may be transferred to the undergraduate level for courses under the same core curriculum or equivalent);
- A 30% tuition discount for students who enroll in the full Postgraduate program (the discount applies starting from subsequent courses).
7.3. Tuition for DNTU Lecturers and Staff
DNTU lecturers and staff who wish to pursue further education, who have worked at DNTU, and who have received a University decision approving postgraduate study, are eligible for the following tuition reductions:
- 12 to 36 months of service: a 30% reduction on full-program tuition;
- 37 months of service or more: a 50% reduction on full-program tuition;
- Biological children of lecturers/staff who have worked at the University for 12 months or more: a 10% reduction on full-program tuition.
* Note: If a student belongs to multiple priority groups, only the priority group with the highest benefit will apply; benefits from different groups are not combined.
8. Application Documents Include
- Application form (using the provided template);
- Curriculum vitae/personal résumé (using the provided template);
- Health certificate;
- University degree and transcript (certified photocopy);
- Foreign language degree/certificate qualifying for exam exemption (still valid, certified photocopy, if any);
- Citizen identification card (certified photocopy);
- Letter of recommendation for study (if any);
- Stamped envelopes with the recipient's address clearly written (2 pieces);
- 3x4 cm photos (4 photos, as specified);
- Documents for priority applicants (certified photocopy, if any).
