Learning Together in the “Introduction to Advanced IoT Systems” Class: DNTU Master’s Students Explore Advanced IoT Systems

On the morning of Saturday, March 14, 2026, the Graduate Affairs Office  had the opportunity to learn alongside the Master's class in Information Technology. As part of the Information Technology training program, students of the classes 25MCNTT1 and 25MCNTT2 attended a session of the course Introduction to Advanced IoT System taught by Mr. Nguyen Thanh Trung. The session provided in-depth content, giving students a more comprehensive understanding of Internet of Things systems in the context of modern technology.

In class, students learned about the overall structure of an IoT system (anatomy of the system), including components such as sensor devices, data transmission systems, processing platforms, and application layers. By analyzing this structure, students can better visualize how an IoT system is built and operated in practice.

In addition, the lecture content also extended to cross-industry IoT applications. Practical examples in manufacturing, smart cities, high-tech agriculture, and supply chain management helped students better understand the wide-ranging applicability of IoT across many socio-economic fields.

An important part of the session was a discussion on the technical challenges of deploying IoT systems, including issues of connectivity, data management, system scalability, and requirements for operational safety and information security. These are key factors in ensuring that IoT systems operate stably, efficiently, and safely in real-world environments.

Through this session, students not only reinforced their specialized knowledge but were also encouraged to develop technological thinking and readiness to engage with new trends in the Internet of Things and digital transformation. This is also part of Dong Nai Technology University's practice-oriented training direction, aimed at equipping students with the knowledge and skills necessary to meet labor market requirements in the technology era.
